Dog Trainer and Boarding Kennels

Specializing in home obedience training, I offer group classes and private classes in your own home. My goal is to help you to create a stronger more enjoyable relationship with your dog whilst introducing you to the possibilities of further training with your dog. I also offer a dog walking service to regular clients. Please have a look on the Training page for more info.

Walking and Hikes – In addition to training I run a dog walking group at no extra costs to clients, as a member of this group you will be updated and invited to monthly group walks and hikes where you can bring along your dogs. Please take a look on the Training page for more info.

My boarding kennels are a small kennel situated at my home where I can offer 24hr care whilst you are away. I personally care for your animals and do regular check ups as well as spend play time with them. Each Kennel is a converted stable with its own private garden area. Dogs go out for daily walks and if wanted can have training whilst here. Please note – I specialize in high energy and difficult breeds, have facilities from small breed to giant and  I am not biased to any breed.

Quarantine / Medical recovery – I offer a medical recovery service to dog needing care after hospitalisation. If necessary quarantine/Sterile environment procedures can be put into place during your animals care. The animal is kept in a cool quiet enclosure, with restricted movement if needed and close to my cottage if necessary where I can ensure continuous care for your animal.

I also offer a small onsite grooming service for basic grooming requirements.

For more info please have a look at the Kennels page.

American English Coonhound Stud

During some research on dogs for tracking use I stumbled across the Coonhound. I landed up with one cross breed and a pure breed American English Coonhound. I fell totally in Love with the breed and started the long process of registering with KUSA. After a year and a half I succeeded and now show Amber in Breed shows. Please take a moment to read more on the stud page.
